Welcome Cyclists - Wallonia Tourism - June 2026

🚴 Why the Bienvenue Vélo label?

Because welcoming cyclists is not just about offering them a bed... it's about offering them good advice , the most beautiful routes and the desire to come back .

I had the pleasure of explaining it in this video produced by Wallonia Tourism during the Bienvenue Vélo label day in Charleroi last May.

Thank you Stéphanie Villance and Wallonia Tourism © for this beautiful spotlight!
Enjoy the video. 🎥💚

Micro-adventure with Matéle - March 2025

As a walking sponsor in the Beauraing area, I accompanied Antoine PERET 🎥📰, a journalist with Matélé , our local television station. We combined walk #2 in Vonêche and walk #2 in Froidfontaine for a total of 11km. Freya 🐶 joined us, testing out her new leash – what an adventure! We set off in the March sunshine ☀️🌞 and returned in rain, hail, and wind 🌧️.

alluMeuse No. 35 - Spring 2025

The latest issue of the magazine alluMeuse showcases our beautiful region with an article entitled"By bike, from Givet to Beauraing. From the Meuse valley to the Famenne." A great recognition for Vonêche, Beauraing… and the Gîte Le Cristal!

Here: "BIKE RIDING" section

Thanks to Catherine VANDENDROUCKE for this article.

Anita is exhibiting at the Beauraing Tourist Office - October 2022

A look back at the exhibition "His Environment in Colour"

Anita turned to painting a few years ago, after a wonderful encounter at the academy 🎨 which marked the beginning of her artistic journey.

Very quickly, his inspiration draws from his simplest memories: the daily life of his childhood and adolescence on the family farm 🌿. The seasons, familiar landscapes, animals and life in rhythm with nature become the basis of his creative universe.

Guided by a teacher who encouraged freedom of expression, Anita gradually developed her own style, a blend of observation and imagination. Farm animals sometimes mingle with those born from her imagination 🐾, while sunsets and landscapes bring gentleness and emotion to her canvases.

Originally from Beauraing.

Anita continues to progress by training with more experienced artists. Using photographs, Anita refines her techniques, compositions, and color harmony.

Among his notable works is also the Thanville viaduct, a testament to his attachment to the places that inspire him. Some of his paintings now decorate the rooms of the guesthouse, extending his artistic world into a place of living and sharing ✨.

An exhibition that highlighted a sensitive perspective, nourished by roots and memories.
